Bio STAR, is a groundbreaking online platform designed to help students build a portfolio distinguished by original research projects that are so far inconclusive to date. We continue to investigate novel avenues to expand our understanding and push the boundaries of scientific boundaries in several areas of structure-function.  We pursue scientific breakthroughs and novel approaches to design different medicines to help us out avoid detrimental side effects of certain therapeutic drugs. What sets us apart is our focus on our own significant experimental data, allowing students to conduct meaningful research on their own PC/Mac without the constraints of a traditional laboratory.

The pinnacle of our program is the transformation of research projects into publishable material. These materials, when ready can be submitted for peer evaluation, review, and potential publication in mainstream scientific journals, offering a real-world platform for their academic achievements.

Participation in the academy entails an external initial course strategically crafted to fortify fundamental skills. Students delve into the intricacies of:

•    Formulating researchable questions

•    Designing testable experiments

•    Conducting literature searches in library databases

•    Analyzing scientific literature, including peer-reviewed journal articles.

Upon completing the foundational course within the program, students transition into individual research projects meticulously assigned and overseen by the Bio STAR team. This hands-on experience serves as a steppingstone to further scientific exploration.

As students advance, they gain the expertise to actively engage in research experiences. Collaborating with college research faculty, Bio STAR provides crucial support, facilitating a seamless transition to more advanced scientific pursuits.
